How I became an AmSAT Certified Alexander Technique Teacher​

My wife discovered Alexander Technique when she was struggling with a frozen shoulder. She found relief from her shoulder pain and encouraged me to try AT.

I was pursuing a new interest in choral singing and running into difficulties with my voice. I began taking AT lessons and was surprised at how much I loved them. I experienced improvement with my voice, and multiple other benefits, such as decreased tension and improved movement in daily activities.

After a few years of private lessons, my passion for AT and my desire to share it with others led me to pursue training to become an AT teacher. I spent three years training with Jane Heirich and received my certification in the summer of 2019.
